Pack T-Shirts
Pack T-shirts (officially called "Class B" uniforms) are in.
They came out great! We have a variety of sizes still available. Cost: Adults: $9, Children: $6
Training
Cub Scout Fast Start Training - All new leaders should take Fast Start training as soon as possible. This course is given periodically by our local Council but you can take it online.Youth Protection Training - This site is provided to enable adult leaders to undertake youth protection training online. This is mandatory training for all leaders. Note: You can get to the online training by either going to the Suffolk County Council website and looking under "Training" or follow this link then select "Suffolk County Council" from the pull down menu.

Our first meeting will be October Pack Night on Friday, October 7th, 2005 at 7:00 pm at the FJC School. Any new boys that want to join scouting are welcome to come down, meet everyone in the pack and sign-up! Upcoming Events...
October 14, 2005 - Popcorn Show-n-Sell
Come down to Waldbaum's in Rocky Point anytime between 5pm and 8pm to sell popcorn. Scouts must be in uniform and parents must stay while their child is there.October 15th, 2005 - Fall Festival at Longwood Acres
The annual Fall Festival is a great way to start the fall season. The are lots of games, crafts and food to enjoy. Boy Scouts from all over the district will be camping there over the weekend so your cub scout can check out Troop 244's campsite. It's best to visit the festival between 10am - 2pm.October 15th or November 5th - Stony Brook Seawolves Game
We going back to Stony Brook University for a Seawolves game. Keep the above dates open - we'll be deciding on one of those games soon.October Pack Night Halloween Party - Friday, October 28th.
