Tuesday, December 14th, 2004 - Christmas Caroling at Central Suffolk Hospital

Saturday, November 6th - 7th, 2004 - Webelos Woods Campout at Baiting Hollow

Saturday, October 30th, 2004 - Baiting Halloween Spooky Walk
The boy scouts set up Baiting Hollow Scout Camp for Halloween and we spent the evening on a great spooky walk through the camp.  Thankfully, everyone made it out alive.

Saturday, Oct. 23rd, 2004 - Webelos Overnight Trip to Battleship Cove, MA
The Webelos went to Battleship Cove, Massachussettes and spent the weekend exploring the all the historical ships and submarines located there.  They slept overnight in the actual sailors' bunks aboard one of the ships.  It was a wonderful and memorable trip for the boys and their parents.

Friday, Oct. 15th, 2004 - October Pack Night
The theme for October was "It's a Circus of Stars".  We had our annual Halloween Costume Party!  There were tons of fun, games and food.

Friday, Sept. 17th, 2004 - Popcorn "Show and Sell" at Waldbaums
We sold popcorn in front of the Rocky Point Waldbaums.  The scouts were enthusiastic and had fun meeting their adoring public.  We sold lots of popcorn and got our fundraising off to a good start.

Friday, Sept. 24th, 2004 - September Pack Night
The theme for September was "Time in a Capsule".  We displayed many of the boys' favorite scouting projects that they've done over the years.   The boys filled a time capsule of their own to be opened at the end of the year.

Sunday, September 26th, 2004 - Tides Beach Cleanup
For our first community service project of the year, we participated in the annual beach cleanup day at Tide's Beach in Rocky Point.  We collected about 20 bags of garbage from the beach.

Saturday, October 2nd, 2004 - Fall Festival and Longwood Estates
We had nice weather to enjoy all the activities at the Fall Festival at Longwood Estate.  There was pumpkin decorating, a pumpkin chucking contest, scarecrow building, chainsaw woodcarving demonstrations, arts and crafts stations, food and more.  This was fun day for the whole family.  Additionally, the Boy Scouts of Rocky Point's Troop 244 (not us Cub Scouts) were camping there over the weekend and some of the more adventurous cub scouts found their campsite amongst the many out there.

Read about the history of Longwood Estate here: http://www.longwood.k12.ny.us/history/ridge/sestate.htm

Saturday, October 9th, 2004 - Stony Brook Seawolves Football Game
We went to see the Stony Brook Seawolves get clobbered by the Hofstra Pride!  The kids loved the up-close action of live football and enjoy interacting with Wolfie, the Seawolves' mascot.
