Cubs for Cubs

This year Cubs for Cubs was held on April 29th at the Holtsville Ecology Center.  This years' theme was "Journey into the 21st Century".  The weather held out and we all enjoyed a beautiful day and had a great time.

The highlights of the day were:

• Our booth won second place out of the approximately 20 packs that attended the event!  We seemed to have the most popular booth games with lines of scouts lasting the entire day.

• Josh Redman won second place for his submission of this years' Cubs for Cubs patch design.

• The Tiger Cubs parade float came out super (but didn't win a ribbon)

• We made a good showing in the Council-wide Pine Wood Derby.   Unfortunately, none of our cars placed in the top three of their respective divisions.
