Tiger Cubs Visit the Pizza Parlor - October, 2000
The Tigers were treated to a super tour of the Rocky Point Pizza Parlor that ended with the boys making their very own large cheese pie, cooking it and then eating it! It was a great visit and a delicious pizza.Bake Sale Auction - November 18, 1999
Our Bake Sale Auction for charity was held during the November 18th Pack Meeting and was a huge success. The excited scouts raised the action to an all out bidding war for the various baked goods. When the frenzy was over and the money was counted, over $135 had been raised to help a local family with a very sick child. Everybody had lots of fun and the money went to a good cause.Blue and Gold Dinner - February 6, 2000
In spite of a last minute change of venue, the Blue and Gold dinner was a huge success! We had a great turn out and everybody that attended enjoyed a great dinner of well cooked ziti, 6-foot hero, salad, soda and desert. Awards were given out to the scouts and certificates of appreciation were given to the leaders and volunteers. We were then all treated to a magician who put on a great show and even made balloon animals for all the kids! Thanks to everybody who made this years' Blue and Gold so special.Scouting Sunday - February 13, 2000

Pack 244 participated in the Rocky Point St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday March 12th. We had good weather and lots of fun!Cubs for Cubs Day - April 29, 2000
The annual Cubs for Cubs Day was held on April 29th at the Holtsville Ecology Center. It was a great day for all cub scouts and their families. Take a look at some great pictures from the event.Hallock Family Cemetery Cleanup Day - May 6, 2000
Pack 244 helped the Rocky Point Historical Society do a spring cleanup of the historic Hallock Family Cemetery on May 6th, 2000. Lots of leaves, sticks, garbage, and poison ivy were raked and bagged and the cemetery looks great!Memorial Day Flag Placement - May 27, 2000
Pack 244 participated in the District's Flag Placement Day at Calverton National Cemetary in honor of the brave men and women that have served our great country. On June 3 we also participated in the Flag Retrieval.NY Mets Baseball - June 25, 2000
Pack 244 went to the Mets game at Shea Stadium on Sunday, June 25th, 2000. It was another beautiful day and a terrific time for everybody!Fishing Trip - July 22nd, 2000
Pack 244 went fishing on the Port Jeff Ace. The trip was a huge success.Summer Beach BBQ - August 26th, 2000
Pack 244 wrapped up the scouting season with a Beach BBQ. It was a great way to finish the season and get ready for September.
