Fundraising - Candy Sale
We had a good candy fundraiser this year. For anyone who hasn't turned in their money, please return your candy money ASAP. Thank you for your support.Uniform Exchange
Do you have a Cub Scout shirt or pants that no longer fit your child? Do you need a new shirt or hat for your child?
Pack 244 is bringing back the uniform exchange. Bring anything you no longer need to Pack Night and pick up what you need. Contact our uniform Exchange coordinator, Valerie Sutera at 209-0237 for what we have in inventory or any questions you may have.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
Friday, January 22nd, 2010 - January Pack Night
Movie Night. This is our annual movie night and scouts are welcome to come in pj's and bring a blanket/sleeping bag and pillow to watch the show. We will be selling a snack and drink for $1.00 so please give the children some spending money.

Come see the Monster Truck Show at Nassau Coliseum.
All tickets have been sold and will be distributed shortly.
March 13th, 2010 - Pack 244 Float Decoration
Come help decorate our float for the St. Patrick's Day.
Our theme is SpongeBob O'Squarepants goes Irish!

Hershey changed the Boy Scout weekend from August to May this year. We will not be attending as a pack but will plan a summer weekend trip to another park. Details TBA.

Pinewood Derby @ 1pm. Final details TBD.

The Senior Webelos went to Battleship Cove and spent the night sleeping on the USS MassachussettesSat, October 17th or 24th, 2009 - Baiting Holloween

October Halloween Costume Party. We had prizes for the best costumes! Dens made great games for everyone to play.Cedar Beach Annual Fall Festival
Several of our scouts and their families went to the Cedar Beach Festival on Saturday and had a great time.
September Pack Night
Our first Pack Night of the new year was fun and informative. We saw a great slide show of last years' many events, every boy received a commemorative piece of the cornerstone of the new Freedom tower and then Den 3 won the "Name That Tune" game and received Coast Guard T-Shirts.September 11th, 2009 - Freedom Stone Ceremony
A few of our scouts attended the dedication of the cornerstone of the new Freedom Tower being built at the World Trade Center site in Manhattan. Although it was a rainy day, the boys are sure to remember being at this historic event for many years to come.August 21st - 23rd, 2009 - Hershey Park
Hershey's Boy Scout Wildlife Weekend was a fantastic trip enjoyed by many of our pack families. The weather held out and weekend was a great success! Although we had to deal with some showers upon arrival, we had a great night Friday and and excellent day Saturday. July 11th, 2009 - Pack 244 Luau
Our annual Pack 244 Beach Party included fun in the sun with games, swimming, games, food and contests.June 27th & 28th, 2009 - Cathedral Pines Camping Trip
We held our annual family camping trip at Cathedral Pines and it was a lot of fun! We had a bunch of families come out and enjoy beautiful weather, lots of fun and games, and some great food all weekend..
