Paulette &
Lee on Inaugural Voyage of Disney's Fantasy!

The Many views of Cinderella's Castle:

Characters in Flight (at Downtown Disney): Our guests are
getting
a birds-eye view of Walt Disney World Resort as they soar to new heights in a
whimsical attraction that is now open Downtown
Disney. Characters in Flight, operated by Aerophile, is a giant tethered
balloon that ascends up to 400 feet
into the sky every 10 minutes (depending on weather). Riders can catch
the flight daily for $16 ($10 for ages 3-9). To enjoy, just go the bridge on
the West Side near Plante Hollywood!!

Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue; Pioneer Hall - Fort Wilderness
Paulette and Lee finally got to
Disney's most popular show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical review at Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness.
This is Disney Worlds longest
lasting stage show, so we knew it would be great and it was! Even though Paulette made reservations at the very
last minute, we had the best table in the house. However,
we were really very, very lucky since reservations are made up to two years in advance! We think that wed have a better chance at a
reservation by going to the 9:30 p. m. show and it worked. So if you forgot to make reservations early, try
the later show. We were rewarded by a down
home, all-you-can-eat barbecue (fried chicken, smoked ribs, salad, corn on the cob, baked
beans, bread, salad, strawberry shortcake -- all of it quite good, by the way -- and your
choice of coffee, tea, beer, wine, sangria, or soda). Lee wanted to be sure you knew that
the wine was all you care-to-drink too! While
we were stuffing ourselves silly the Pioneer Hall performers in 1890s garb lead us in a
foot-stomping, hand-clapping, high-energy show that includes a lot of jokes you haven't
heard since second grade and for Lee, that was a long, long, long time ago! Note:
Be prepared to join in on the fun or the singers and dancers along with the rest of
the crowd will humiliate you until you do. This is really is an entertaining evening for
the entire family. Even Lee gave it a good grade, which is really saying something.
Show times are 5, 7:15, and 9:30pm daily (the show lasts about 2
hours). Insider
Tip: If you catch one of the early shows, consider sticking around for the
Electrical Water Pageant at 9:45pm, which can be viewed from the Fort Wilderness Beach.

Paulette and Lee at Sea World's Makahiki Luau:
As
the sun was setting sets over the harbor, we went to the Polynesian Makahiki
Luau at the Seafire Inn, a bountiful, nightly celebration featuring the
ancient customs, rhythmic music and dance, authentic costumes and cuisine of the Pacific
Islands. We found the experience a wonderful way to end the day. The excitement was
non-stop in this festive, fiery show, and Lee really enjoyed the "all you can
eat" part!

PLAYHOUSE DISNEY LIVE ON
